Q Does the AA provide accommodation?
A: No, but we can direct you to an accommodation listing.

 

Q: Should I bring my computer/camera/video camera?
A: We encourage you to bring whatever equipment you have, but please be aware it is your responsibility to insure your equipment prior to joining the AA.  The AA is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

 

Q: I am interested in joining the Summer School but I already have an architecture degree – will it still be worth it for me to attend the programme?
A: Of course, people from all levels and disciplines attend the Summer School – it is an opportunity to develop new skills and engage in a diverse learning environment.

 

Q: Do I need to bring materials with me?
A: Bring whatever you are comfortable using. Model materials, cardboard, Plexiglas, pends, sketchbooks and memory sticks, etc can all be purchased locally.  We will provide shop addresses on the first day of Summer School.

 

Q: Is studio space provided?
A: Yes we provide desk and studio space.  9am-9pm Monday – Friday and limited hours on Saturday / Sunday.

 

Q: Who will be teaching the Summer School?
A: We are currently in the process of finaliSing teaching staff.  Check back soon for updates and look at the Tutors section on this site to see past tutors and guest critics.
